Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss some recent joint work with A. Piggott and M. Gutierrez concerning the automorphism group of a right-angled Coxeter group. These groups turn out to have an interesting place in Geometric Group Theory and I hope to make this clear in the talk. I will discuss a structure theorem for these groups as well as some geometric applications. The talk should be accessible to a broad audience.
